Four Seasons of Terrra

Terrra creatures traveling through wormholes in all four seasons of an apple tree. I decided to depict the apple tree as a symbol of time. Growing up, we were always observing them, climbing them, and using their produce. They perfectly represent time and the four seasons. In spring they bloomed, in summer they were full of green leaves, autumn brought fallen leaves and the harvest, and winter brought decay and cold silence. Winter was the only time when an apple tree resembled a sculpture.

I designed Terrras as creatures of time travel. They appear in different seasons and years throughout the life of a single apple tree. The worm holes in the apples reflect the bending of space and time through tunnels. Inspired by Einstein and Rosen’s 1935 vision of spacetime bridges.
